i only have one leupold but im thoroughly pleased with the workmenship of the scope. i dont really care if it has chinease ground glass or if its a 3 piece tube and im sure the next deer i shoot with it wont care either.

Have had three Leupold Vari X-III's. Still own 2. No problems at all.

I"m really not sure how many Leupy's I own. Probably around a dozen. Mostly Vari-X II's. Several MX-8's, and several straight 12x's, with a 4X12 Rifleman thrown in too. Have sent two (I think) back to the factory. One due to the fact it would not hold zero, and one for a reticule change. Not bad history for as long as I've been using Leupy's. Customer service has been great, also. But, there have been big improvements by some of the other manufacturers out there in recent years... namely Bushnell with their Elite series, and the Nikon Monarchs. With that being said, there's just something about seeing a nice, sleek Leupold properly mounted on a quality crafted meld of figured walnut and deep-blued steel that gets me glassy-eyed.....
