Here is one of the bluefin tuna I caught this August .This one was around 950 lbs round.

That is a big tuna. How long did that take to reel in? I didn't know there was a website for saltwater fishermen. I need to start taking some pictures of my catches. Caught a 36lb king last year off of OBX pier and a 42lb cobia. Didn't do much this year besides spanish and bait fish.

THAT Bluefin took 6 hours and 20 min, but they usually dont take that much time, I caught 6 this season and 4 out of 6 took 1.5-2 hours. One took 20 minutes(gut hooked and drowned on me).. they are one heck of a fighter, after 6 hours I was burned out!!! Glad he finally came up...
