we went mahi-mahi fishing last year in florida keys and we pulled up to a plank of wood with bait under it about 23 miles off of the coast we started catching mahi but had to leace because of the 11-12 foot tiger that kept eating our fish=ended up being a great trip we caught 27 mahi-mahi wiht 4 being ove 20pounds

thats cool. i would have stayed and tried to catch him. when i was in st. george island 2 years ago i was in the water knee deep and a 12 foot hammerhead swam by me and my friend. it was probably 5-7 feet away. pretty scary.
i had one on the line once but it busted my leader because it was to big

You did the right thing in leaving, no sense in trying to catch fish that are going to see a certain death by shark. Plus, a tiger that big will absolutly out fight just about anything you have on the boat, keep in mind they can pull 55 lbs of drag like a playtoy

here's mine from florida it's 6 foot 9 and 200 pounds. caught mine right off the beach. im 16.

is that an atlantic sharpnose shark? i caught one about 3 and 1/2 foot one 2 weeks ago. and lots of little small baby black tips and hammerheads.

a piece of mullet. about 15 feet off shore.
