Default big waves

I was gonna go offshore tomorrow but the waves are 6-8 [:@][:'(]Oh well

Where are you fishing out of? What's the dominat wave period? Direction of wind? Size of boat. If you're dealing with mostly swells and you have a decent boat, you may still get out.
