Default IMR 3031, 4895, and powder measures?

Hey, I bought some 3031, and 4895 to try in my .30-06, 8mm Mauser, and .223. I am wondering how anyone's experiences have been with these powders in powder measures, peticularly for the .223, as that will be loaded up to 100 at a time if I find a good combo with it. The .30-06 and 8mm won't be loaded in quite the volume, so its not quite a big deal, I just don't want to spend a lot of extra time weighing each load for my .223 varmint loads. I am currently loading 748 in the .223 right now, and is shooting fine, I am just wanting to experiment a little more, and see what I can get it to do. Thanks.

Both of these powders meter moderately well out of a powder measure. Not as smooth as 748. Its the long sticks like H-4831 that are a real chore. Just curious - why didn't you buy H-380 or some other medium ball powder?

I use 4064, 3031, and 4895, and 4064 is the worst to meter. But by worst I don't mean not doable. My RCBS Uniflow will keep the charges within +/- .2 gr which more than good enough for a 30-06 sized cartridge.

Well, I mainly bought the two powders for the .30-06 and 8mm, using it for the .223 was just an afterthought
