Default Tikka T3 .223 reload

I have just bought a Tikka T3 TACTICAL in .223. The barrel is 24'' and has a twist rate of 1 in 8 .

I am looking for a good TARGET load. I have 69gr Sierras at present however if anyone knows a very accurate load let me know.......I am open to all suggestions.

I wish to shoot on the range from 200yds. Sometimes even 400yds.

Regards

The only way to know if a load is accurate in your rifle is to take the bullets, a couple different powders, and start experimenting within the limits of the reloading manuals. It is impossible to say if one load that is accurate in gun A will even be close to accurate in guns B or C. I would find 3 powders that give the velocities you want, load some up and then pick the most accurate powder, then work slightly with the load to get to where you want to be accuracy wise.

My savage has a 1in 9 twist and I use the 69 match sierras with RL -15 at 25grs if you want to try it.
