Hey y'all, I was just curious if it's possible to reload shotgun slugs? Would you use a standard shotgun reloader or a rifle die? Not really interested in doing it at this point, just a question I had.

people do.

Lyman makes several different molds...

basically the only thing different from the shotshell is the payload (duh) and the crimp.

Lee also makes a mold .
Or you can buy them from Balistic Products
Many loads for slugs use a fold crimp just like a shot reload

I have used reloaded slugs for years to teach others about slug shooting .
Reloading sulgs is just as easy as shot reloads just a little slower

http://www.shotgunslugs.com./

Check out this website if you're interested in reloading slugs. There is a few companies offering different sabots.
If nothing else, it beats paying $13.00 for a box of 5.
