Default Wildcattin.

I was just wondering how many wildcatters are still out there? If you are a wildcatter what is your favorite cartridge? Mine would have to be the 22 k-hornet at 35 degrees.

I have a 17K bbl for my Contender. Fun caliber.

Nice quote Contender!

I was at the bar one night and saw what vodka and a 44 mag can do to a dodge truck............ Punch clean into the cylinder through the block! Tough on radiators too.

I always thought a 257 Roberts Ackley Improved would be a cool cartridge, not a real crazy wildcat, but different, and actually gains you something.

Not really a wildcat, but you aren't going to find it on any gunshop ammo shelf in America: 7.5 Swiss, It could be called 7.5x284

After I wore out my .243s barrel I had it rebored to .263 Express a wildcat cartridge of Ken Water's. A 6.5 mm on .308 sized brass. My problem is some dirty rifle maker made a change in the name and now it ain't a cat, just a poorly labeled .260 Remington. [:-] Why shucks when I sell it I might even get somewhere's close to its real value.

Not a Wildcater, but Improved cartridges are a big part of my winter entertainment.

I would probably Wildcat, if I knew someone who could teach me the brass forming techniques used for Wildcat Cartridges.

Can't give you wildcat favorites, but I can give you a few Improved favorites.

Well I had a 30-06 AI till it got ripped off. I loved it, I got it when I was 11 yrs old and it was stolen when I was 35. It was a great gun and I miss it bad. then I still got one wildcat, its the 30-338. its an old timer my dad gave me, seldom get shot any more but still a nice gun.
