Longshot shotgun powder

Has anyone used Hodgdon's Longshot powder for the heavy 1-1/4 and 1-3/8 field loads. If so what luck have you had. I've found that Longshot is cheaper than some other powder and loads much easier in my MEC progressive reloader. The velocies given in load manuals are amazing!

Price has nothing to do with weather I use 1 powder over another ,just results.
And I get them with Longshot powder.
I load in the Federal Gold Metal cases
I load my 1 1/4 oz loads with Win. primers and REM R12L wads at 1440 fps
I load my 1 3/8 oz load with Win. priners and REM R12H wads at 1350 fps
PATTERN your gun /choke /load .
I tryed several (8-10)different loads using different wads,primers and speeds before finding the ones I shoot
The 1 1/4 oz at 1495 fps loads both SUCKED when I patterened them ,they had a big hole in the middle of the pattern in my gun.
