cheaper to reload
is there any price difference in reloading .243 than a .308 or a 30-06?

Bullets will be very slightly cheaper for the smaller bores.

The .243 should be a little cheaper to reload then the .308 or .30-06, less powder, slightly less $ for bullets.

the 243 wont be much cheaper than the other short actions, but it takes quite a bit less powder than the long actions and will be cheaper.
