Without having the loads in front of me, I can't be specific. But what I can tell you is, the only thing I load in my 7-08 in the Nosler 140gr BT. I've never tried Varget, but if you can find a load that'll push the 140BT, you'll be happy with the bullet. I've taken plenty of deer with that round and have never been disappointed.

Hello, My wife has a 7mm-08 model 7 Remington 18 1/2" barrel
she reloads a few different loads you can use these to see what will work for you, she has tweeked the powder a bit for just the right fps & groups for the 140 gr ballistic tip.

Trim your case length to 2.025 inchs
Primer Rem 9 1/2
IMR 4350 - 46.0 grains
140 gr nosler ballistic tip
overall case length 2.809 inches
THIS WILL GIVE YOU 2840 FPS - MAKE SURE THIS LOAD IS SAFE FOR YOU & YOUR GUN.

Same case length as above,
Primer - Federal GM210M
H335 - 40.0 grains
140 gr nosler ballistic tip
same overall case length
THIS WILL GIVE YOU 2742 FPS, AGAIN, MAKING SURE IT IS SAFE FOR YOU & YOUR GUN
This is the most accurate load she has, 1/2 inch at 100 yrds, 5 shots
Although the speed is a little slower, it makes the ballistic tip mushroom just right & not fragment so much. She drops the deer where it stands everytime.

GOOD LUCK!
