Default .223 Ackley improved in a AR-15???

Could that work I wonder if anyone has done tha yet Seems the case would fit in the magazine all you would have to do is ream the chamber to fit the ackley cases shoulder. Any thoughts on that one anyone??

IMO it may not feed as well with the sharper shoulder and less taper in the case.

very true I didnt think about that, but it would be kinda neat if it would work.

I'd strongly suggest that you consider the gains against the costs before making this conversion......Frankly I don't see the gains at all.
