RE: Wasted some more money on Neck Turners
I bought the K&M neck turning tool a couple of years ago myself. I love quality tools whether it be reloading tools, woodworking tools or whatever and Sinclair makes some of the best. Plus, they're great people to deal with.
BTW, my K&M has been sitting in the back of my drawer gathering dust for about the last year. For me, neck turning just wasn't worth the effort. Sorting new brass by neck thickness to begin with is a better idea I think for us average guys because if you have a neck thats thicker on one side than the other, there's an excellent chance the entire case is lopsided. I don't always sort new brass (depends on the accuracy potential of the rifle it's going to be used in), but when I do, I use the ones with a neck thickness variation of .001" or less for the loads I'm trying to get maximum accuracy from. I've found that Lapua, Norma and RWS brass tend to be more uniform on average than other brands.
