I purchased 100 new Remington STW brass from Midway. I sorted through 50 yesterday and I found that the case leangth was about .008" from max leangth. The flash holes seemed to be acceptable too. I usually use winchester brass though. Remington brass is on sale at Midway this month.

I use remington too, ive noticed the tolerance in case mouth wall thickness is much higher more even around the mouth and the brass stretches more evenly do to that, I dont have to trim my cases as often. I wouldnt use anything other then remington cases except in a pinch maybe winchester but there tolerance sucks and federals You would be lucky to get 4 reloading out of them the brass is to soft.

I use Winchester brass in my 7mm STW , Winchester brass is more consistant than the Remington brass and seems to last longer. I like Remington brass but perfer the Winchester brand if it is available.

I use Remington 7mm-STW brass also. I have never tried anything else in the rifle.
