Default How many of you

think highly of the Remington Cor Lokt ultra PSP? How many of you would reload this bullet because of it's performance at the range and in the field?

I just can't think why I would want to take all that time taking such care to measure each load, carefully work each piece of brass, and then stick a corelok on top.

That is pretty much what I am thinking but I had to ask. That is the only option I have for a factory load in one of my rifles. I also have a .243 and have been shooting the Hornady's. I was wondering if anyone had any experience.

I've used core-lokts in the past when i didn't reload. I've also killed many deer with a core-lokt and they are ok bullets but just not my choice in a handload.

I only use corelokts for 6.5 mm plinking loads. I was able to buy a box of 500 for about $40 a few years ago. They aren't as accurate as SMK's but are a whole lot cheaper to use for plinking. Would I buy more for plinking loads? Sure.

I wouldn't have any hesitation to use them for hunting. There are better bullets sure, but it doesn't take a $2 bullet to kill a whitetail.

The factory load is available and I was asking if anyone has used this load and have determined if the bullet is worth reloading if and when it is available. Not that I want to. I just want to know if anyone has shot them to see how they perform.

You can only load regular core lokt bullet right now. The ultra core lokt is not availble yet for reloading.
