Default Spotting scope for 200 yds.

I've been doing a lot of shooting at the range lately and have decided to invest in a spotting scope. Do any of you guy's have any recommendations on brands, power, etc. so I can see my shots clearly @ 200 & 300 yds or is that even possible? I'll put this in the hunting gear forum too, but I figured a lot of reloaders would be doing a lot of shooting at the range and thats what the primary purpose of it would be. Just like bino's I'm sure the Leicas, Zeiss and Swarov's have better performance than some cheaper brands, but I'm willing to invest around $300-$500. I'd like your thoughts, thanks in advance! Default RE: Spotting scope for 200 yds.

You know, I like the wind rivers. Also, I can't believe it. But I have looked thru some cheaper bushnell scouts, and they was pretty clear out to 300 yards. I like the leupold windrivers too for your price. I haven't any experience but heard the cabelas brands were clear as a bell.
