240 cast semi wadcutter bevel base with 21 gr of h110. This is not a hot load (1200fps) but it shoots the most accurate in both the redhawk and super blackhawk. It works great on deer. I've found the hotter loads are not as accurate but you don't need it hot.

Yep I use a 240-250gr wadcutter with 20.5 gr of W296/WLR (yep, Lg. rifle) primer in a Starline case, never run it over the chrony but it is one accurate load in my 10" Contender bbl.

my fav 44 load is 24.7 gr of WW296 behind a 240 gr Hornady XPT. This is a max load so approach with caution.
