Default 300 sa. ultra mag. reloads????

Just bought a Rem. 300 sa. ultra mag. model 7.. what are some reloads?? what are you getting for accuracy??

The question really is what is going to work in your gun. I don't shoot a 300 SAUM, but my experience with loading for any 30 cal and 7mm short mags is to stay below 160-200 gr bullets. Obviously bullet selection is going to be different for their respective sizes. I like 165's and 180's in the 300 WSM, the 7mm SAUM I have the opportunity to shoot every now and again really likes the 160 gr partitions. If your handloading for it I think either one of the 4350's IMR or Hodgdon is probably a good starting point. I don't own either of the two guns mentioned but I worked up the loads for the these two guns so I've had plenty of bench time with both.
