Default Turtle Wax and Polishing Brass?

I remember once hearing or reading about people adding liquid Turtle Wax to their tumbler media to polish bolish brass. Is this something any of you have heard of or done? I have been using the Lyman green treated corncob, but it's pretty expensive and I can get corncob and walnut media at the pet store for a fraction of the price. I'm curious about Turtle wax mostly because it would be a lot cheaper than spending $10 for a little thing of Iosso brass polish at Gander Mtn.

Thanks,

Mike

I went to a gun show last weekend, and they were selling walnut media treated with Turtle Wax. Good luck.

I wouldn't want to use Brasso on brass casings. This product contains ammonia which will weaken the case. Nobody needs a weaker case. Brasso + cartridge cases = bad juju.[:@][:'(]
