After reading all of the posts that talk specifically about bullets, I' m wondering which bullet that I have been using to kill my deer with. I have killed my last 5 deer with Winchester CXP ammunition. 4 of them were the .243 CXP 100 grain Power point and This year' s was a Winchester .308 CXP 150 grain Power point.
The question is, is " power point" the only name for this bullet?
I am pleased with this bullet' s performance, all five deer were downed with one shot.
To my knowledge the bullet name is Power Point, the CXP thing is Controlled Expansion something or other, it' s only a rating that some of the manufacturers use to identify the expansion characteristic of the bullet and the type of game it' s intended for use on. If I' m wrong someboby jump in and give up the good dope.
