Stuck shell

I have a unfired 303 shell stuck in my 303 parkerhale that will not come out I tried to push it out with a cleaning rod but it won' t budge any ideas.thanks

Has the rim ripped off? Does the exractor on your bolt not grab it? was the chamber clean oer was it dirty and greasy?

If its stuck and unfired, I would definately NOT try to fire it.

One thing you might try is to strip the gun, and put the barreled action in a freezer overnight. It shoudl shrink the lead and brass enough to make it able to be tapped out GENTLY with a cleaning rod. If the chamber was greasy or dirty to begin with, all bets are off.

Probably best to spend a few bucks and take this one to the gunsmith.

Ya the gun was clean it was just a bad brass I guess though it was only shot a few times.thanks for the ideas.
