Starline is considered to make some of the highest quality brass and is made in the USA. I'm sure that Magtech makes a good product, but they're known for making reasonably priced ammo that's imported from Brazil. There would have to be a considerable difference in price before I chose the Magtech brass.

Starline brass is made by Sierra bullet company in Sedalia Mo. I have a buddy who used to drop off HUGE rolls of brass case making material and bring back 5gal buckets of floor sweepings, what we called it, for next to nothing and we would have 10-15 different dia. of bullets in them and we would sort them out and go from there. He also picked up brass that was seconds and to look at it there was nothing wrong to us, for next to nothing as well. I have shoot tons of the starline and really prefer it over any of the foreign made stuff.
