I was unaware of these recalls. Which powders were affected? I do recall recently a lot of Alliant RE22 that was about like RE19.... Thanks

I know one of them was the first batch of retumbo. Its par for the course for most powder companies with new offerings. I don' t think that has anything to do with reduced loads. Only ones I have seen is the 30-06. It was actually pretty accurate and very mind.

Well the first I saw of Hogdon' s reduced loads was in the published annual that I picked up in January 03.

iowabuckslayer,

IMHO, reduced loads serve a very real need. I don' t use reduced loads to hunt with, but I have used them for a long time to start my kids on hunting rifles. I have used and recommend the Hodgdon site. Every time someone ask about reduced loads I give them the site address.[&:]
