Since I don' t guess anyone has a rem 260 or any loads to share I will ad what I worked up this morning at the range incase someone else decides to get a rem 260.
I had a ruger and traded it for a rem bdl with a24 in barrel, loaded up several loads and went to the range this morning the best load I got was with H4831 and a serria 120gr HP bullet at 100 yds I got a .183 in 3-shot group just took this rifle out of the box 2 weeks ago.got several groups around an inch using other bullets and powder but the H4831 and the 120 gr was the best.
Someone left a red dot sticker dot on the 200yd so I thought I would try to hit it,only had one bullet left with this load.sue wish I had have had at least 2 more bullets left after hitting the dot.to see how tight it was at 200 yds.

Thanks Jack, I had a pic of the 120 gr load I tried but its not there now???the 3 other loads would work on deer but they weren' t as tight as with the H4831 load.
I was really wanting a load for the 129 but haven' t found a good one yet that I like.
Will try to post the pic again and see if it works.

I just bought a Douglas featherweight barrel in .260 Rem for my model 70. I' ll let you know what the outcome is. I bought Hornady' s SST 129 as my first starter bullet.

Vapodog.I got a load from someone on the short-mag fourm and it was the best I ever got the sst 129 to shoot and the interlock 129 shot just as good. Not as good as the 120 gr shot but more than acceptable for hunting.Going to try them at 2 and 300 soon as I get a chance.
W760 @42 grs,129,SST and interlocksp,col 2.795 used with CCI mag primers.
SST groups .585 and .634
Interlock sp .765.

May have done a little better but I had allready shot 60 loads with my muzzle loader and my shoulder wasn' t in the best shape by the time I got to the 260
You might want to give the W760 a try.
