Default Cleaning dies??

Do any of you clean your resizing dies, and if so what do you use as far cleaning agents and do you take the die apart. I have a Lee full-length resizing die.

I reckon the easiest way to clean a die is to hose it down with spray carb cleaner or brake cleaner...powerful & leaves no residue.

Personally, I work Q-tips with a little CLP on them into the inside gaps of the dies. If the die disassembles easily, it wouldn' t hurt to take it down & clean it good every 1000rounds or so - but normally, a few Q-tips after every good loading session does the trick for me.

I disassemble them and use a solvent on them I dont do this very often because I always clean my brass before running any of it .

I take them apart and clean them with WD-40. Good luck.
