Short Jacket Bullets

I have acquired a couple of boxes of Hornandy 100 gr. SJ bullets
for practice using my 308 Win. The problem I cannot find any
reloading data for the above. I did find it for a speer SJ bullet.
any info would be appreciated. I do have a couple of pounds of
IMR 4895. Thank You

Wow this goes way back but I actually have hand written notes about loading those very bullets in my old .308. This is from 1979. But for safety sake I also think that one of my old Hornady loading books has that data too. I will look and tell you what I found.

I loaded those bullets over a dipper full of Trailboss powder in 30-30 to get my youngest son started on the big guns. He still asks me to load that up for him from time to time. I just used the dipper that comes with Lee 30-30 dies and it works great.
