Default .270 bullets

What's everyone's favorite .270 bullet? I'm wanting something I can use for deer, coyotes, and hogs. I'm not worried bout the coyote fur and will probably get a head shot on a hog. I just started reloading so I haven't used many bullets yet.

Right now im shooting a 110 gr hornady v-max with 58 grs imr 4831 and a federal magnum primer for hogs and yotes but im working up a 110 gr accubond load for deer season. Ive had good experiences with hornady sp interlock 140 gr and 130 gr sst. Soon im gonna make up some 140 gr accubonds for big game. The .270 is very fun to reload for and even more fun to hunt with, good luck with it.

I'm shooting 130 gr Nosler BT's in my 270WSM, if I were to switch over to a standard bullet I'd definitely look at the 130 gr Hornady Interlock. Although at 270 Win velocities, I'd also consider the Corlokt for an economical bullet.

Ive core lokts come apart in a .270 win, that short mag would probly blow em to smithereens.

Are the v-max pretty accurate?

All of the VMax's that I have shot 25 cal and down were all very accurate. I'd have reservations about using it on a hog though.

And Podunk, I didn't say I would use the corelokt in my gun, I said that at 270 win velocities it is an economical bullet. I can't see it not doing what's asked of it on game.

I shoot the 140 grain Hornady out of the 270 Weatherby magnum. It works great, and holds together at 3400 fps. I also load 130 grain Speer and 130 grain silvertips. They are the old school Winchester. They aren't available anymore, unfortunately. I use the nosler partitions on the big stuff, but they aren't really needed for deer or yotes. Load a few different brands, and your rifle will tell you what it likes.

All three of my .270's shoot well with the 110 v-max it seems to be a great bullet. Reason im shooting hogs with it is because its cheap, accurate and there is little recoil. Most of my hogs are shot in the head/neck anyway. Ive yet to shoot one in the body with the v-max but id try it if it presented itself. The core lokt is an accurate bullet i was just saying it comes apart easily.

Hornady 130 SP. Very accurate, good on-game performance and the price is right too.
