I'd stay off the shoulder till ya test the waters. I've used the .257 110's and the 160 .284's on deer, they work well. They will however expand over 2x diameter if the hit something hard enough, fast enough.
I've taken 26 deer with accubonds, at ranges from 80-90 yards to 1,350 yards they've all exited except 1, that bullet hit a limb intended for a buck at 450 yards, missed POA by about 6" but still shot through 2 1/2 feet of whitetail and hit the lungs, lost the bullet during field dressing.

Yep I have been shooting them and they shoot awesome! But unfortunately I haven't tried them on game yet...

I guess I should do some water jug tests with them one of these days...

I shot a 160 accubond into a maple tree at about 20 yards, the impact velocity was right at 3520 fps, the bullet expanded to .658" and retained 61% of its weight.

on the left is a 7mm RM for comparison, next is a 7mm Allen and 2 accubonds, you can tell which one was recovered
