.270 Win data/IMR 3031 ?

I'm using Hornady 140 s on top of 52 g IMR 4350 now , I would like to work up a different load for comparison, but I can't find a recipee for the IMR 3031 . Is there one out there ???

Maybe a little on the quick side for the .270....lots of air space...I've always had my best luck with the meduim slow powders like H-4350..let us know how it groups compared to what you've tried before.

Imr 4831, IMR 4350 will give you your best velocity with the 270. 3031 is pretty quick.

I agree with the others.

3031 is too hot. If you're looking to go up the burn rate chart try 4320 or (maybe) 4064.

4350 is really a good powder for what you're shooting.

I or H 4831 would be another good choice for the 270 as well.
