Default Neck Turning Tool- who makes a good one and is it worth the bother?

Just finished an online article from Outdoor Life on reloading. And it recommends a neck turning tool to increase accuracy. Who makes a good one and is it worth the bother?

losthwy,

Sinclair offers a good one, especally the model #3000. I have been so impressed with the results of turning the outside of the case necks, that I now turn the necks of everything I load. It' s a lot of work, but worth it. Good luck.[&:]

I use the neck turning kit from RCBS it turns both the outer and inner neck. It works well. Good luck.

Turn necks all you want.....I guarantee you it won' t hurt you.....I' d advise sinclaire but it' s not likely to give you any advantage at all.....!

I definitely recommend that you turn your case necks. It will keep you off the street, and give you tremendous pride in your accomplishment. It will probably not increase your accuracy. Have fun.

Personally I don' t turn necks. I buy winchester brass only now. It seems to be made to better tolerances than Remington. It is not as good a Norma or Lapua but a lot cheaper. Try Sinclare this company is out of Fort Wayne, Indiana they make top of the line reloading accesorys and one of the finest benchrest money can buy.
