Question What do you do with bad load developement components?

I am going to start developing ammo for my 270 for deer and pig hunting. I was wondering what you guys do with the powders and bullets that do not perform good with you rifle? I realize that not all powders and components will give me what im looking for in my rifle and I will have to keep buying components until I find the right combination. So do you just used the component for target rounds or just write them off as a learning experience?

I shoot the loaded stuff and the extra bullets will end up sitting on the shelves in the gun room . Every once in awhile I'll clean house and end up trying to find someone to give them too . The powder and primers aren't a problem they will be used elsewhere .

I usually only load a small batch to see how it shoots. Then they either set in my component cupboard or I give or swap with someone else.
Or I just may keep trying them until supply is exhausted.

I use my left over bullets and powder for the fouling shots after cleaning.

Thanks for all the replys. I kind of figured that most people just let them collect dust. You hear so many reloaders talking about trying this bullet with powder x,y,and z. I guess i will try my h4831 with my nosler 130 bt and my hornady 130 gr interlock sp's. Have any of you used the hornady's?
