I was looking on MRCs website and saw these caliber but i can't find any info on them

Barrel burners fer sure...lots of powder in a small bore...you'd be lucky to keep the throat in either for 750 rounds and that might be a stretch at that, get yourself a good ole 7mm mag, it's about the same things and would outlast either..

The .257 STW is just that, a 7mm STW necked down to .257...barrel burner but extremely flat shooting to about 600yrds...

Never heard of a .270 RUM, but I'm guessing all it is is a 7mm RUM necked down...not much selection in big .270 bullets tho...

search for 257 hot tamale, thats the name one big name smith gave it, and the 270 allen mag is a 270/7mm Rum with the kirby allen improvements. shoot ball powders it will help conserve the throat.
