Default Question about a die.

So I was at Wal Mart today and they were sold out of the reloading kit I want but they had a die I needed. It was a RCBS die part number 11401 for a 243 winchester.

Anyway, when I opened it the case only has 2 pieces in it and 3 slots that would hold pieces. Is one piece missing or is this only a 2 piece die set? Online pictures are only showing 2 pieces but I haven't found one that says. Thanks.

3rd slot is used for carbide pistol sets, or maybe a neck sizing die. 2 is all you get for a FL set.

A full length sizer and a bullet seater.

straight walled pistol and rifle die sets are comprised of 3 dies, bottleneck rifle die sets only have 2.
FL sizer and a seater die, the 3rd die in straight walled cases is to is to slightly bell the case mouth which tends to roll in during resizing, before seating flat based bullets.

Those RCBS boxes are made generic with 3 slots in them.
They are sized to hold three dies (usually for pistols) but a rifle FL die set usually is only two dies as said by the others.
