Can anyone tell me if Heavy Shot can be purchased for reloading. I am thinking about looking into reloading this for waterfowl hunting. Also if anyone has any input on this or a good recipe can you help me out.
If you add it up, still ain' t that much cheaper than buying the ammo preloaded. They got to drop the price on that stuff sooner or later for us water fowlers.
You can also buy supplies from Cabela' s. I shoot so few shells, I just buy factory. We see few ducks around here, so each shot counts. I love the heavy stuff!
Buck' s Run (800-274-0403) carries hevi-shot as well. Reloading for most is well worth it for the improvement in patterning that factory loads generally will not deliver.
