Default .270 130 gr gamekings oal

the sierra book calls for 3.3 oal, however I loaded up a new win brass with a 130 gr. gameking with no powder of course and the lands pushed the bullet back to 3.285 Does this sound about right. I have set my die for an oal of 3.275 what do you all think is this enough space.
thanks chris

The 3.30 COAL is the MAX length, I would take it down to 3.265 = a good safe starting point.

I think you will be fine, as long as the rounds function/feed thru your blind magazine with no binding or rubbing the tips of your bullets. And start with a mild starting load and test fire
