Default 350 rem mag

Anyone ever load Hornady 180 sp ssp in a 350 rem mag? Care to share your experiences with it on thin skinnned game such as whitetails?

should do fine at 350 velocities, had a 350 for years, great whitetail rifle, I allways loaded 200 gr for them but it was overkill on small whites, bullet didn't expand much but never had one walk off from them.

The 350 RM is so over powered for deer, i can't imagine any of the 180 or 200 grain bullets not working well on them...

I've shot several moose with a 350 RM, and i prefered the 250's over the 200's for the much better penetration they give on the bigger animials...

I shoot two different 35 Whelen's, I haven't tried them in the Ruger yet but the Remingto 7600 didn't seem to like them. They are intended as more of a single shot pistol bullet. Try it, your gun may like them.
