Ballistic Tip Stuck in Die

I managed to get a ballistic tip stuck in a reloading die. The bullet is not stuck just the polymer tip. Has anyone had a similar experience? If so, how did you get it out and what did you do to avoid future occurrences?[/align]

remove the bullet seater from the die. Could you have possibly got the tip jammed between the edge of the seater and the die body? clean it out.I have used ballistic tips as long as they've been out and never had that happen.

Same here. That polymer tip is not going to hurt the die. Just back out the seating plug and get it out of there. Then before you put it back in, put a loaded round into the press, run it into the die and screw the seating plug back in until it contact the bullet. Lock it in place and you can start loading again.
