Forgot the next load I wanted to share. 10 grains of Trailboss powder behind a 440 Grain Hardcast will give you 743 fps from a 4in barrel. This would make a great self defense round for the 500SW with lite recoil and rapid fire capabilty. If a 230grain 45 ACP at 850 fpsis considered efective then a 500 S&W 440 grain at 743 fps should be even better at knocking a home invader on his keeester! At this lower speed it won't gut shoot thru every wall in the home and into the neighbor's house!
