RE: slug loads 12 ga.doers anybody reload?
Bought the 7/8 oz a couple years ago ,big mistake, shoulda went w/ the1oz, couldnt get it to fit any of the wads I bought, and I couldnt get the star crimp(lee load all) to stay closed ,so I gave up. Ive heard that the 1oz works well if you roll crimp it. I think I used HS6 (35gr mabye?) got between 1400 and 1600fps in a 20" deerslayer 2 ,the slug went through 2 wet phone books and flattend like a pancake into some wood. wouldve like to have used it on a deer.
