308 WIN Huntinf Loads

I really like the 165 grain bullet for a all around load for the 308 WIN. I wanted some advice on hunting loads that will get me 2700FPS out of a Reminton 700 SPS varmit with 26in Barrel. Any recipes, or advice would be great as I am new to reloading as well. Living in Montana, my shots can be out to 400 yards. Right now I am comfortable with shots out to 300, but want to be able to group well to 500. Thanks in advance guys and I look forward to hearing from youa ll. Oh, currently I am shooting Remingotn Premier acctip in 165gr.

I have good results with Hodgdon's Varget. Go to their web site and you can look up load data. Hope this helps.

My load for a 308 is 45gr of Varget with 165gr sierra gameking with 210primer. Should be easy to hit 2700fps. I get 2680fps out of a 22" barrel.
