Default Mis-fired rounds disposal

How does one responsibly dispose / dis-assemble a load that has failed to fire, yet has a dent in the primer? Is it safe to use a kinetic disassembler? I don' t have a press bullet puller.

Thanks DG. I' ve used the kinetic puller with good results, it' s just that a dented primer makes me a little nervous.

I do the same thing as DJ does, but I put a flat washer on top of the press, so not to damage the threads or the top of the press with the vice-grip. Zeak

You can soak the shell in oil to neutrallize the primer. Soak it for a couple of days, then you don' t have to worry about an accidental fire.
