Default load for model seven 308

I want to reload for my remington model seven .308, its got the 20" barrel so I think I will need a fast burning powder. I am leaning towards useing the Sierra matchking 168 gr.hpbt. what do you think I will need to use for powder, and what charge would you recommend to start with? I would like to use this for deer out to around 300yds. Thanks Guys, Steve

I use Varget with 150 Hornady's and Nosler Ballistic Tips.
A hollow point is not a good choice for game. Only paper.
