Default 270WSM & RE-17 INFO

I have been working up some loads for my 270WSM using RCBS Gold Medal Match Neck Bushing Dies and getting some good results.I am going antelope hunting in 6 weeks in wyoming and was wanting to try the new alliant powder (RE-17).Where can i get some?I have tried Midway...Graf & Sons...Midsouth Shooters...ect...
Anyone have any good load data for other powders as well?

have read mixed reports on the re-17, some very experienced reloaders state its not the magic elixer we're led to believe it is, personaly I'd go with re-22, its a proven winner in the short mags

RL17 is probably a little on the fast burning side for the 270 WSM. Ridges advise with RL22 is just about an ideal burn rate. Even if the RL17 is all its cracked up to be the RL22 will allow you to load so much more powder that they would still run very close velocities. The RL17 is supposed to be optimal in the 300WSM and despite a couple magazine articles praising it, three posts with very detailed load data indicate the powder is not much, if any of a step up after all. Time will tell and I still plan on trying to reload my 06 using RL 17.

Personally I'd stick with IMR 4350 or RE19, H4831sc has done well for me as well.

Mine likes 69gr, RE25 with 150 gr Hornady SST. 1" groups all day long. Even with a hot barrel.
