Man-Good question there..I have some here that has been loaded 5 to 6 years
and it seems to be alright..Had some black powder shot shell that were loaded
for 3 years and they fired with no problem..

I think if you keep them in a control enviroment the shelf lifewould be a very long time.

I've shot some I've loaded a dozen years ago. In fact,I'm about to go on a shoot with my son in couple of weeks and burn up some more. If you load with good fresh stuff, store it in the house like I do, I wouldn't be surprised it it would be fine after 20 years.

I have fired nearly 500 rds of some WWII surplus ammo without a misfire. That's what, 60 yrs?

I have handloaded 38 sp. ammo that was assembled in 1979 that I have no problem shooting.
