Check them out here:

FiftyDriver is the maker of them.

RidgeRunner has a 7mm AM, he'll chime in.

well, for one thing you can match the specs that kirby gives for his cartridges with componants you can buy anywhere, have never heard of anyone being able to match lazz's specs even buying his brass, his bullets (54.00 per 50), and his factory loads before the increase were 5 bucks per. lazz's rifles are about twice what kirby charges, slow twists verses kirbys faster twists so for longer range shooting the heavier higher BC bullets that are optimal in kirbys cals are better for long range shooting.
All the freebore in the weatherby's isn't really good for accuracy, Kirby does use the dakota case as the parent for a few of his allen express cartridges.
to 400 yards shorttime of flight will help you, beyond that BC will outrun velocity every time.

johnny, kballen@3rivers.net

nc, the difference between the 270 and 277 allens are the parent cases, the parent case for the 270 allen is the 7mm RUM, the 277 allen is the offspring of the 338 lapua mag.
Kirby firmly believes in maximum capacity and long heavy for caliber high BC bullets, his fave for the 270's is a 195 gr wildcat, the 7mm's is the 200 gr wildcat, these bullets have an ungodly BC over .7. His cases get the kirby treatment, blown out and sharp shouldered.

ok, now the allen express line, his first series of cases based on the 7mm Dakota case were called the allen express line. also his 300 and (I think 338) express is the 277 and 7mm Allen mag case, necked to the respective diameters, this is due to the fact that him allen mags from 300 on up are based on the 408 cheyenne tactical blown out and sharp shouldered.

email kirby and talk to him, he is absolutely the closest thing to a ballistic genious I have ever spoken with, and his smithing skills are second to none.
