Default Cleaning Brass

When cleaning brass how much do you clean inside the case and how??
Newbie here just starting out.

i use a tumbler. when the brass is clean and polished, i take a turn or two inside the case with a wire bore brush just to touch up the inside of the case. it's not really necessary to do that. just running them through a tumbler cleans the inside good enough. good luck and welcome to the forum.

It is a good idea to use a brush designed to clean inside the case mouth.

I also use a tumbler to do most of the work. I"™ll use a nylon brush just to clean the inside of the neck...

I agree. Just don't forget to use a LITTLE lube inside the necks when reloading. Oh, if you want to actually POLISH your cases...get treated media. Just plain corn cob will clean the brass but it won't shine it.
