Default should I pull and start over

I just got a loading scale for my birthday. I loaded about 10 rounds with 2 def. charges. I have about 20 that where loaded using a dipper. I was wondering should I just pull the bullet and reload them using the scale?

The only other option is to shoot them.

IMO - If you have any doubt about your load - yes, pull them and start over.

I can't say I would ever trust a dipper without a few tests on a scale. Thats me.

I've loaded a few rounds with a dipper and it works. If you were using normal caution, I wouldn't worry about it. There have been millions of rounds loaded this way and done just fine. I would just shoot them and go on about things. Pulling bullets etc brings its own set of problems.

I'll second that----I have used the dippers a lot with no problem...

I know the ones I load with the dipper is a scattered weights, but nothing that worries me . looks like a little test is in order.

I just shot the dippers it is more fun anyway

Sounds like you're good to go now, Corey. But you can screw up with a powder measure as well, don't forget. The important thing is to get into a "system" for how you load and don't change it. I think I could reload in my sleep and sometimes have just about done that. Always had a horror of couble charging myself but in 50 years of reloading, the worst I've ever done is load a couple with NO charge.[&:]
