PRIMER SHORTAGE?????

I hit 5 sportsman's warehouses, 1 Cabelas, and 2 Joes. They were all out of Federal 215M primers.

wow there all around here...whats hard to find are the Fed 210m primers....every time I go to town I hit Scheels,Sportsmans Whr and Gander Mt and they are allways out but have lots of 215m primers....
I am hording(3 boxes)215m's when I find them...

you can always try to Mail order them...

you know you may be right. I went to 3 places to get 205M, with no luck. For some reason federal primers are in short supply.

A lot of those primers found their way to either Iraq or Afghanistan. We`ve noticed a shortage of them up here as well.

I highly doubt 215M's or too many of em made there way to the war.

They could be taking up the line capacity to make others though. I heard from someone that Federal got a good goverment contract.

I am going to continue to hit these stores on a daily basis to snag a brick. They are getting some in, but very limited quantities.

What happens is when the word gets out,that the primers are going to be in short
supply,everyone runs out and hogs all they can get..I was in Jerry's warehouse
a few years back and the guys were going nuts on buying primers

aye i heard that federal got a big government contract and their components are going to be scarce.

Ok, guys, i screwed up and didn't call haug first and bought a bunch. I bought 1400 215M's and 1000 215. I paid $4/box of 100 for the 215M. I know alot. And $3/box for 215. If anyone needs some let me know.
