Default Lyman "O" Ring Press

Thanks for all the info in the earkier topic!! I found a used press maybe you guys can help me with.....it is a lyman "O" ring single stage press. Apparantly it is about 20 yrs old and used very little. He also has balance beam scales, .308 win dies, and Lee powder dippers. Asking $250......is this a good deal? Is it decent equipment? Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't know about Lyman, but the Lee aniversity kit is selling for $67 right now brand new. Includes press ("o" ring single stage press), scales, funnel, case prepping tools, powder dispenser, pretty much everything you need except dies. Dies typically cost less than $30 a set. Each Lee die set comes with a dipper.

You can buy a RCBS Rockchucker Master Reloading Kit (#154-728) for 229.95 at www.midwayusa.com ,or the new RCBS RC Supreme Master Reloading Kit (#XP-21-4924) for 259.99 from www.cabelas.com (this kit seems to have a better press). Good luck.
