Need another powder suggestion

What is everyone's favorite powder for a 308? I am asking for a friend who is looking to shoot 150 grain Hornady SST's. Thanks foreveryone's suggestions.

I would try IMR-4064 but what do I know about it

It always worked for me..On the high end for a bit more MV you can
go with Varget-Reloder 15- H-380

On the low end you can use H4350-IMR4350-SR4759 but you will
get lower MV's with these....

IMR4064, Varget and Benchmark all work for me. Benchmark seems to be a little more consistent with the 150s. Varget and 4064 work great with the 165+ bullets.

My favorite powder for the 150 and 165-grain bullets in the .308 WIN. is H380. It has a burn rate similar to IMR 4320, but you can get more of it into that little case w/o running out of room, and it meters very accurately through a powder measure......
